Elderly man drowns to death in Sarlahi

KATHMANDU: A 85-year-old Rebi Sahni of Sarlahi, Kaudena Rural Municipality-6 died on Tuesday afternoon after drowning in a water-logged pit near the Lakhandehi river dam.

He drowned after falling into a pit while attempting to cut straw there.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
