Pedestrian dies after being hit by a truck

KATHMANDU: A 30-year-old man, whose name, surname and nationality have not been disclosed, died last night after being hit by a truck number Bagmati State 03-001 Kha 3238 on the road located in Parsa, Birgunj Metropolitan City-14.

He was seriously injured in the collision and died during treatment at Narayani Hospital Birgunj.

The police have arrested the truck driver and are conducting necessary investigations regarding the accident.
