Gold prices reach new record high in Nepali market

KATHMANDU: In the Nepali market today (Wednesday), gold prices have set a new record once again.

After two days of decline, the price of gold has surged to its highest point ever.

Today, the price of gold has increased by 800 Nepali Rupees per tola in a single instance. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold is currently trading at 153,000 Nepali Rupees per tola.

The price of hallmark gold was 152,200 Nepali Rupees per tola the previous day. The highest price of gold before this was recorded on Bhadra 2, when hallmark gold was priced at 152,600 Nepali Rupees per tola.

Silver prices have also risen compared to the previous day. The price of silver is now set at 1,835 Nepali Rupees per tola, up from 1,820 Nepali Rupees per tola on Tuesday.
