Social worker DB Rawat organizes “Ab Nachchha America” event in Austin

KATHMANDU: In celebration of Haritalika Teej, the event “Ab Nachchha America” is set to take place on Sept 8 in Austin, Texas.

Organized by Gorkha Group LLC, the cultural program will be held at the EL Palacio Event Center.

The Managing Director of Gorkha Group LLC, social worker DB Rawat, is a prominent figure in the Nepali diaspora.

Rawat, who is active in community service in the U.S., has made significant contributions both in America and various parts of Nepal.

He is well-known among the Nepali community for successfully organizing numerous events.

The “Ab Nachchha America” tour, which began in Boston on August 10th, features some of Nepal’s most popular artists. Renowned singer Shanti Shree Pariyar, along with vocalists Rachana Rimal and Jyoti Magar, will provide musical performances.

Model Karishma Dhakal will also entertain the audience with her energetic dance performances. These artists will be performing in Austin as well.

The event will run from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The organizers aim to bring together the Nepali diaspora in Texas and surrounding areas to celebrate Nepali culture and foster community spirit.

Tickets for the event are priced at $35 for general admission and $100 for VIP access.

Anthola Entertainment, Namonamaste Entertainment, and NepLij Entertainment have joined as sponsoring partners to support the event.

The organizers have also arranged parking and other amenities for the convenience of attendees.
