RSP plans to remove Mukul Dhakal, Central Committee meeting scheduled with 10 key agendas

KATHMANDU: The Central Committee of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is set to convene at the party’s central office in Bansthali after 8 AM.

The meeting has been called with a 10-point agenda.

One of the key items on the agenda is the potential dismissal of suspended General Secretary Mukul Dhakal from the party’s ordinary membership.

The ninth item on the agenda involves discussing a report with recommendations from the Central Discipline Commission.

In addition to this, the meeting will cover contemporary political issues and party activities.

There will also be discussions on organizing a national convention, a special campaign in Karnali, and programs for party chairpersons in all provinces.

Here are the 10 agenda items:

1. Current political issues and party activities.
2. National convention.
3. Special campaign in Karnali and programs for party chairpersons in all provinces.
4. Amendments to organizational procedures.
5. Reports and achievements from the central and provincial workshops.
6. Local level by-elections.
7. Constitution Day events.
8. Discussion on the statute of limitations for corruption issues, political interference in education by the current government, and appointments of corrupt and self-serving individuals as ministers.
9. Report with recommendations from the Central Discipline Commission.
10. Miscellaneous items.
