PM Oli receives Rakshya Bandhan

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli extended his greetings to all citizens on the occasion of Janai Purnima.

In a message shared on social media today, Prime Minister Oli wished everyone well for Janai Purnima, Rakshya Bandhan, Rishi Tarpani, and the Rakhi festival.

He noted that the tradition of wearing the Janai (sacred thread) and tying Rakshya Bandhan on this day is believed to protect one from adversaries.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Oli received Rakshya Bandhan from the Brahma Kumari Rajyog Service Center’s sisters this afternoon.

Members of his family at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar also participated in the Rakshya Bandhan ceremony, as reported by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
