President Paudel observes Rakshya Bandhan & Janai Purnima with vedic rituals

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel observed the occasion of Rakshya Bandhan and Janai Purnima today by receiving the Janai and Rakshya Bandhan as per Vedic rituals.

The President, along with First Lady Sabita Poudel, participated in the ritual conducted by Pandit Arjun Neupane at the auspicious time designated for the occasion, according to a statement from the Office of the President.

The statement also mentioned that family members of the President participated in the Rakshya Bandhan ceremony held at the President’s official residence, Sheetal Niwas.
