KATHMANDU: Asian Paints Nepal announced the winners of Kaleidoscope 23-24 – 11th All Nepal Architecture & Interior Design Student Competition.

Kaleidoscope is an annual event that brings together colleges, professional architects and clients who enable the competition through a live project and through multiple rounds of assessment, an independent body of jurors from the architect fraternity of Nepal determine the Winners of the Competition.

The Winning design is then handed over to the Client for further implementation.

This edition of Kaleidoscope saw participation of 39 students from 11 architectural colleges all of whom came together to design the proposed Centre for the National Academy of Music & Drama. Ms. Aayusha Koirala from IOE, Pulchowk Campus, won the first place, receiving a cash prize of Rs 70,000.

Mr. Sushan Shrestha from Acme Engineering College and Mr. Aashish Oli from Himalayan College of Engineering secured second and third places, winning Rs 40,000 and Rs 30,000, respectively.

Consolation prizes of Rs 10,000 each were awarded to Mr. Bipin Maharjan from Kathmandu University and Ms. Kewal Lama from Himalayan College of Engineering.

The winners were recognized and felicitated by Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey and Ms. Nisha Sharma, Chancellor of NAMDA among other distinguished guests at the Marriott Hotel on 18th August.
