Solukhumbu police play key role in managing Dudhkunda religious festival (photos)

KATHMANDU: The Solukhumbu police have played a significant role in managing the famous religious festival at Dudhkunda, a prominent pilgrimage site in Solukhumbu district.

The festival, which lasts for two days at Thulo Dudhkunda, located in Solu Dudhkunda Municipality-1, is held on the occasion of Janai Purnima.

The police have been actively involved in the management of the event.

A team of seven police officers, led by Inspector Pravin Shrestha, has been deployed for the management of the festival.

According to DSP Dwarika Prasad Ghimire of the District Police Office, Solukhumbu, the police team is responsible for ensuring proper management and security for the pilgrims attending the festival.
