KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division reports that monsoon conditions are affecting the country, with partial to general cloud cover nationwide.

Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is observed in various States.

This afternoon, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with rain and thunder across Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and some parts of Madhesh.

Heavy rain may occur in isolated areas.

Tonight, conditions will remain partly to mostly cloudy.

Light to moderate rain with thunder is likely in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and parts of Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati.

Heavy rainfall could hit a few locations in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim States.
