TRC Bill presented in National Assembly

KATHMANDU: In the National Assembly, the bill for the Third Amendment to the Commission for Investigation of Disappeared Persons, Truth and Reconciliation Act, 2079, has been presented.

On Sunday, Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya introduced the bill on behalf of the government. Minister Chaurasiya proposed that the National Assembly consider the bill, which was received with a message from the House of Representatives.

The bill had already been passed by the House of Representatives.

Currently, members of the National Assembly are in the process of sharing their views on the bill.
