Kanti Children’s Hospital will be made of international standard: Health Minister

KATHMANDU: Health and Population Minister Pradip Paudel has said that Kanti Children’s Hospital will be made of international standard.
After inspecting the Kanti Children’s Hospital in Maharajgunj, Minister Paudel asked to increase the effective services and maintain hygiene.
He said, “The service seeker should not feel neglected after coming here. The work being done here with limited resources and means is admirable, although more of your activism is sought by the state and the people.
On this occasion, the Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Roshan Pokharel, said that this year, 10 percent more budget has been allocated to the hospital than last year. He said, “We are going to make it bigger because of the trust of the common people towards this hospital and the capacity here. We look forward to this.” Hospital Director Dr Pankaj Ray stressed on more support of the Ministry to enhance its capacity and services.
On that occasion, Minister Paudel inaugurated the 16-bed ‘Child Psychiatric Inpatient Ward’.
