Oli’s action plan: Enhancing the effectiveness of ‘Hello Government’

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed a keen interest in enhancing the effectiveness of the ‘Hello Government’ initiative, which facilitates public complaints and grievances regarding government actions.
During a meeting with officials from the Civil Service Organization at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar on Monday, Prime Minister Oli underscored the need to make this grievance redressal mechanism more efficient.
He highlighted the importance of this system in allowing the public to easily lodge complaints and grievances.
The Prime Minister also mentioned plans to engage in detailed discussions with the relevant team of employees regarding the initiative.
The ‘Hello Government Grievance Management Directive, 2078’ governs the operation of this mechanism.
Additionally, during the meeting, the organization’s President, Leknath Koirala, submitted a memorandum drawing attention to the need for an early introduction of the Federal Civil Service Act, among other matters.
