Singer Prakash Timilsina passes away
Timilsina, who resided in Bhaisepati, Lalitpur but was originally from Sunsari, was found unconscious in his bed on Saturday evening around 6 PM.
KATHMANDU: Prakash Timilsina, a singer known for winning the hearts of millions with his unique style of singing, has passed away.
Timilsina, who resided in Bhaisepati, Lalitpur but was originally from Sunsari, was found unconscious in his bed on Saturday evening around 6 PM.
Despite being rushed to Patan Hospital by his family, the doctors declared him dead.
Timilsina rose to fame in the music industry through the singing competition “Nepali Tara.” He became a well-known and respected singer among Nepali music lovers with songs like “Timro Siundo Ma Sindur Bharna Deu,” “Timro Hatko Sindur,” “Jun Bhandina,” “Timilai Dekhera Aankha Tyahi Chhodi Hinde Ma,” “Naman Laaj Yasari,” and “Na Aaye Ni Hunthyo,” among many others.
His final rites are scheduled to be performed today at Pashupati Aryaghat.
Before the cremation, his body will be kept at the Nepal Music and Drama Academy, Naxal Bhagwati Bahal, from 8 AM for final tributes.
