KATHMANDU: IME Pay, Nepal’s leading mobile wallet, and Xuno, a groundbreaking fintech company, today announced a strategic partnership to introduce a revolutionary r2px (request-to-pay) solution for receiving remittances in Nepal.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards financial inclusion and empowers Nepalese citizens with greater access to global financial services.

“We are thrilled to partner with Xuno to offer this innovative r2px solution,” said Praveen Regmi, CEO at IME Pay.

“This aligns perfectly with our mission to empower Nepalese citizens and provide them with greater access to global financial services. Xuno’s user-friendly and secure platform will ultimately benefit Nepalese residents by making remittance receiving faster, easier, and more transparent.”

“We are excited to join forces with IME Pay on this ground-breaking r2px product,” said Bal Krishna Joshi, Founder of Xuno. “This collaboration significantly expands access to an equitable and secure way of conducting cross-border transactions. Together, we are paving the way for a more inclusive and borderless financial future.”

Revolutionizing Remittances with r2px

The new r2px solution will allow beneficiaries in Nepal to receive remittances directly into their IME Pay Wallets in real-time.

This first-of-its-kind feature empowers Nepalese residents to easily request payments from individuals or businesses in the US, eliminating the need for traditional, often-cumbersome remittance processes.
