KATHMANDU: Itahari, a submetropolitan city, has brought four electric buses.
The sub-metropolitan city has acquired four buses to run city buses.
Hemkarna Paudel, Itahari’s municipal mayor, stated that the city bus would be placed into service with the goal of offering easy and simple transportation services across the city.
“City buses are ready to be put into operation from August 1st,” he stated. “four buses will cover all 4 areas of Itahari and the route will be decided.”
On Feb 20, the sub-metropolitan inked a contract to deliver municipal buses worth 63.6 million 86 thousand rupees.
The Metropolitan Corporation has planned to run municipal buses to all 19 wards.
In addition, the bus will include CC cameras.
