Industrialist Shrawan Kumar Agarwal dies at 77

KATHMANDU: Shrawan Kumar Agarwal, a distinguished senior industrialist and former member of the Constituent Assembly, has passed away at the age of 77.

His death occurred on Monday night at his residence in Sanepa, Kathmandu.

Agarwal was the father of Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, the President of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce.

The Nepal Chamber of Commerce has issued a condolence statement, paying tribute to his memory.

The late Agarwal was actively involved in various industrial ventures for 58 years.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter.

The final rites are scheduled to be conducted today at Pashupati Aryaghat, as announced by the Chamber of Commerce.
