CG Motors hands 25 Kinglong 14-seater eectric vans

KATHMANDU: CG Motors, under the Chaudhary Group (CG), has ceremoniously delivered 25 Kinglong 14-seater electric vans to Super Mount Everest Transport Business Pvt. Ltd. in Kathmandu.

The handover event was attended by notable personalities including senior leader of the Nepali Congress, Arjun Nar Singh KC, Chair of the Transport Business Federation Bijay Sawar, and other representatives from the transport industry and related sectors.

According to Dinesh Pandey, General Manager of CG Motors, “We are extremely pleased and proud to transfer such a large number of vehicles at once. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Super Mount Everest Transport Business Pvt. Ltd. for their commitment to environmental conservation. We aim to encourage more transport businesses to adopt environmentally friendly electric micro-vans. Compared to traditional diesel vans, electric micro-vans significantly reduce operational costs and open up more savings. The cost per kilometer is less than 2 rupees, which allows our transport businesses to maximize profits with minimal expenses.”

The Kinglong 14-seater electric commercial vehicle is equipped with a 50.23 kWh battery. It features ABS, EBD, 180 mm ground clearance, 15-inch tires, a reverse camera, a reverse camera with sensors, and air conditioning. Charging the vehicle from 20% to 80% takes only 45 minutes.

Customers can avail sales and service facilities at the Kinglong showroom in Panipokhari as well as at 21 other showrooms across Nepal.

Additionally, service facilities are available at three locations in Kathmandu. Charging services are currently provided at over 185 locations across Nepal, with additional facilities set to be introduced.
