Free health camp in Krishnanagar, Kapilvastu: 450 people receive health check-ups
The health camp was held at the Laxmi Narayan Temple Dharma Shala premises in Krishnanagar, Kapilvastu, starting from 9:30 AM.
KATHMANDU: On Aug 3rd, the Late Baktabari Devi Goyal Charitable Fund, in coordination with Universal College of Medical Sciences, Bhairahawa, conducted a one-day free health camp in Krishnanagar.
The health camp was held at the Laxmi Narayan Temple Dharma Shala premises in Krishnanagar, Kapilvastu, starting from 9:30 AM.
Approximately 450 patients from Krishna Nagar and surrounding areas attended the camp to receive health check-ups.
The camp offered free medical consultations, including general medicine, gynecology, orthopedics, pediatrics, ENT, blood tests, ultrasound, dental care, ECG, dermatology, and sexual health services.
Free medicines were also distributed, as reported by the Chairperson of the Trust, Bhwanath Goyal.
Additionally, patients who registered and received various tests during the camp will receive special discounts and concessional rates for treatment at Universal College of Medical Sciences, Bhairahawa, until September 2nd, as stated by Goyal.
The Late Baktabari Devi Goyal Charitable Fund, a non-profit social organization, has previously conducted various social activities including free health camps, relief distribution, educational material distribution, and tree planting.
