Laborer falls to death from Maulakali Cable Car construction site

KATHMANDU: In Nawalparasi (Bardaghat–Susta East), a laborer has died after falling from an under-construction building at the Maulakali Cable Car’s top station in Gaindakot.

The incident occurred at the construction site of Maulakali Cable Car Pvt. Ltd., located near the Maulakali Temple in Gaindakot Municipality-1.

The laborer fell from the fourth floor of the building.

According to Police Inspector Sudip Bhandari from the Nawalparasi (Bardaghat–Susta East) District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Gorkha Raut Kurmi, a resident of Jeetpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City-20 in Bara District.

Though the accident happened last night, it was only reported to the police today after other workers on site discovered it.
