Prabhu Bank poens 314th branch at Durgapur, Jhapa
The opening ceremony was conducted by the Chair of the Bank's Board of Directors, Leela Prakash Sitaula, on Thursday.
KATHMANDU: Prabhu Bank has inaugurated its new branch in Durga Pur, Kankai Municipality-7, marking the fifth branch in Jhapa and the 314th branch nationwide.
The opening ceremony was conducted by the Chair of the Bank’s Board of Directors, Leela Prakash Sitaula, on Thursday.
Special guests at the event included Kankai Municipality Deputy Mayor Aasha Sharma Siwakoti, Ward Chair Bhishma Bhushan Sitaula from Kankai-7, Ward Chair Leela Bahadur Katwal from Kankai-8, and Sher Bahadur Thapa, Chair of the Koti Havan Religious Development Institute.
They all extended their best wishes and expressed confidence that the Durga Pur branch would contribute to enhancing the local livelihoods.
Badri Kumar Katwal, Chief Officer of the Koshi State for Prabhu Bank, stated that the establishment of this branch is aimed at energizing the local economy and facilitating financial services in the region.
