Identity of one fatality & 29 injured in Pokhara bus accident revealed (update)

KATHMANDU: One person died in a school bus accident in Pokhara.

A 33-year-old Aarati BK, office assistant of the school, was among the deceased.

The accident occurred early on Monday morning when the bus, registered under the number Ga 1 Ka 6219, veered off the road and plunged approximately 60 meters down from the Fusre River bend.

The bus, belonging to Devkota Memorial English Boarding School, was carrying around 30 people, including students.

The police have confirmed the details of the accident and are investigating further.
