KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has left the Koshi State government.

A Maoist minister in the Koshi government has resigned on Friday.

On the request of Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki, Physical Infrastructure Minister Ganesh Upreti, Health Minister Rajendra Karki, Tourism Forest and Environment Minister Narayan Burjamagar and Forest Tourism and Environment Minister Bandana Jhagad have resigned.

With this, the Maoists have left the central government.

It is said that the Maoist Center has also withdrawn its support to Chief Minister Karki.
