KATHMANDU: Saurya Airlines deeply mourns the tragic loss of friends and colleagues who tragically lost their lives in the plane crash.
Chair Deepak Kumar Pokharel issued a statement today expressing profound grief and condolences to the families, society, and the nation for the significant loss suffered not only by the company but also by the wider community due to this heartbreaking incident.
The company, through a press release, conveyed its steadfast support, companionship, and enduring goodwill towards the bereaved families.
“In pursuit of Saurya Airlines’ business development and credibility, we express our utmost respect for their unwavering dedication and contribution,” the statement read, affirming the company’s commitment to preserving a vibrant and enduring legacy.
The company also extended sincere wishes for the swift recovery of Captain Manish Ratna Shakya, who successfully survived the tragic accident involving Saurya Airlines’ flight at Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday, July 25.
Unfortunately, among the 19 on board, 18 lost their lives in the mishap.
Captain Shakya was promptly rescued and received intensive care at Sinamangal-based Kathmandu Medical College (KMC).
Currently, the hospital reports that Captain Shakya’s health condition is stable.
