Semifinal lineup complete for Women’s T20 Asia Cup
With a perfect record of three wins out of three matches, Sri Lanka topped Group B with 6 points, securing a spot in the semifinals.
KATHMANDU: ACC Women’s T-20 Asia Cup semi-final draw has been completed.
The Sri Lanka women’s cricket team secured an impressive victory against Thailand, claiming all 10 wickets in the final group stage match of the ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup.
With a perfect record of three wins out of three matches, Sri Lanka topped Group B with 6 points, securing a spot in the semifinals.
Thailand, despite a competitive performance throughout the tournament, finished third in the group with 2 points, thus missing out on the semifinal stage. Bangladesh, as the group runners-up, also advanced to the semifinals from this group.
The semifinals are set with India facing Bangladesh and Sri Lanka taking on Pakistan.
Both semifinal matches are scheduled for tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Nepal women’s cricket team has returned home after completing their group stage matches.
