KATHMANDU: Monsoon-induced floods and other disasters have claimed the lives of 133 people across Nepal as of June 10.

According to the Police Headquarters, 145 individuals sustained injuries during this period, with an additional seven reported missing.

Police spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General Dan Bahadur Karki, reported fatalities in various States: 2 in Kathmandu Valley, 22 in State 1, 15 in State 2, 25 in Bagmati State, 38 in Gandaki State, 23 in Lumbini State, 7 in Karnali State, and 10 in Sudurpaschim State.

Rescue efforts have successfully saved 67 individuals: 1 in Kathmandu Valley, 49 in State 1, 12 in Gandaki State, and 5 in Sudurpaschim State.

Additionally, seven individuals remain missing due to the flood disaster, which has displaced 4,118 families during this period.
