KATHMANDU: Anvi Kamdar, a 27-year-old influencer based in Mumbai, lost her life after falling into a 300-feet deep gorge near the popular Kumbhe waterfall in Mangaon, Raigad district.

Kamdar, a resident of Mulund, Mumbai, was known online as theglocaljournal with 257,000 Instagram followers.
Her content focused on travel, luxury discoveries, cafes, itineraries, tips, and personal experiences. She was also a chartered accountant formerly employed at Deloitte.
According to officials from the Mangaon police station, Kamdar was capturing the scenic surroundings when the tragic accident happened.
Her friends alerted authorities, who rushed her to the Mangaon Taluka Government Hospital.
Despite efforts, she passed away during treatment.
Her final reel was posted just two days prior, where she provided suggestions for the upcoming long weekend on August 15.
