KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who was sworn in as Prime Minister on Monday, has expanded the 22-member cabinet.
However, the Oli government did not appoint a single minister from the Dalit community.
Despite the inclusion of ministers from other communities based on representation, the Dalit community remains unrepresented in the council of ministers.
Jeewan Pariyar from the Congress party and Chhabilal Bishwakarma from the UML were initially listed as ministers.
However, both were removed from the final list at the last moment.
The newly appointed 19 ministers from the Oli government have already taken their oaths today.
The new cabinet consists of 10 ministers from the Congress party, 8 from the UML, 2 from JSP, and 1 from LSP.
