KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has formed a 22-member cabinet.

Oli, who was appointed as the Prime Minister on Sunday, expanded the 22-member cabinet on Monday.

President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed ministers.

Prime Minister Oli has appointed two Deputy Prime Ministers in his government. Prakashman Singh as Deputy Prime Minister responsible for Urban Development and Vishnu Poudel as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.

The new cabinet includes Prithvi Subba Gurung as Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Ramesh Lekhak as Home Minister, Shrestha Singh Bhandari as Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Dr. Arzu Rana as Foreign Minister, among others.

Similarly, Balaram Adhikari has been appointed as Minister of Drinking Water, Pradeep Yadav as Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Damodar Bhandari as Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, and Nawalkishor Sah as Minister of Women, Children and Senior Citizens.

Additionally, Devendra Dahal has been appointed as Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Binda Yuwa as Minister of Youth and Sports, Pradeep Poudel as Minister of Health and Population, Ajay Kumar Chaurasia as Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

Ministers include Badri Prasad Pandey as Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Ramnath Adhikari as Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Bidhya Bhattarai as Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Manveer Rai as Defense Minister, Deepak Khadka as Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Rajkumar Gupta as Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration, and Ain Bahadur Shahi as Minister of Forests and Environment.
