APF rescue 13 injured in Bara road accident, 2 in critical condition

KATHMANDU: The Armed Police successfully rescued 13 individuals who were injured in a road accident on July 10 near the Pasaha Bridge in Jitpur Simra Sub-Metropolitan City-16, Bara district.

Two of the injured are in serious condition.

The accident involved passenger bus Na 4 Kha 7194, traveling from Malangwa to Birgunj, which crashed due to excessive speed.

There were 31 passengers on board.

Upon receiving information about the accident, security forces from the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 40 Reserve Gana Bara were deployed for the rescue operation.

Two seriously injured people were transported to Simara Hospital for immediate treatment by the unit’s vehicle, while the other injured passengers were taken by ambulance.
