Armed Police rescue man trapped in Sarre River in Lahan

KATHMANDU: The Armed Police successfully rescued a 40-year-old man trapped in the middle of the Sarre River in Lahan Municipality-24 Manikdah of Siraha district on July 10.

The man, Arun Chaudhary, a resident of the same area, became stranded due to a sudden increase in the river’s water flow while on his way from his house to Lahan.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Armed Police Force Nepal Security Base in Lahan promptly executed the rescue operation, ensuring his safe return.
