KATHMANDU: The parliamentary meeting of the ruling CPN (Maoist Centre) has commenced at Singha Durbar, the party’s parliamentary office.

During the meeting, Maoist MP Madhav Sapkota informed about discussions on the Prime Minister’s confidence vote and recent political developments.

Following the merger of major parties Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) into a coalition, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ plans to seek a vote of confidence in parliament on June 10.

Prior to this, there were disputes over the constitutional provision under which the government would be formed.
