Kamala Ghimire to debut in ‘Maili’

KATHMANDU: Kamala Ghimire, who started her career as a folk child singer, is set to star in the upcoming film ‘Maili’.

The film, currently in production, has unveiled Kamala’s poster look.

Previously associated with actresses Karishma Manandhar and Priyanka Karki, ‘Maili’ is being produced under the banner of Runa Entertainment and will be directed by Babu Saheb Balam.

Based on true events, the director aims to highlight women’s struggles in the film.

Filming for ‘Maili’ is scheduled to commence from Asar (mid-June to mid-July).
