Unknown group attacks Mayor Lama’s vehicle in Chitwan

KATHMANDU: An unknown group has attacked the vehicle of Shamsher Lama, the Mayor of Rapti Municipality in Chitwan.

The attack occurred on Sunday night behind Buddhashanti Secondary School in Ward No. 2.

The vehicle, a Scorpio with license plate number Ba 2 Jha 3666, was carrying Mayor Lama at the time.

The police reported that the rear window of the vehicle was shattered in the attack.

However, Mayor Lama was unharmed.

Despite having a driver for official purposes, Mayor Lama often drives the vehicle himself, and he was driving at the time of the incident.
