CAN decides to retain Sandeep in A Grade, salary 1 lakh

KATHMANDU: The Central Working Committee of the Cricket Association Nepal (CAN) convened and made 12 distinct decisions.

During the Thursday meeting, CAN resolved to retain Sandeep Lamichhane in the A grade, and delegated the disciplinary committee to expedite the process of lifting the suspension of national player Adil Ansari, implicated in a match-fixing case, within a week.

Previously suspended due to allegations related to rape, Sandeep Lamichhane was not included in CAN’s central contract.

CAN currently provides a monthly salary of Rs 1 lakh to players in the A grade.
