Son held for murdering mother

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 23-year-old Deepak Nepali, resident of Solma Tejendra Chowk, Laliguras Municipality-8, Tehrathum on the charge of murdering his mother, 46-year-old Tilamaya Nepali, by trucking her with a sharp weapon.

As soon as the news was received that Tilamaya died on the spot when Deepak hit her with a machete, the police stationed from District Police Office Tehrathum, Area Police Office Basantapur and Police Station Lasune arrested him.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
