Three girls drowns to death in Dhanusha

KATHMANDU: Three girls died on Thursday afternoon after drowning while bathing in the Ghughair public pool in Dhanusha, Dhanauji Rural Municipality-5 Bahuarwa.

Among the deceased are 11-year-old Muskan Khatun, daughter of Abdul Khan, 12-year-old Jinat Khatun, daughter of Hillim Khan and 11-year-old Ajmeri Khatun, daughter of Kalim Khan, of the same place.

Among them, Muskan, who was unconscious by drowning, died on the way to Janakpur State Hospital, while Jinat and Ajmeri died during treatment at the same hospital.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
