Gold price rises by Rs 1,600 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of yellow metal has increased by NPR 1,600 per tola in the local market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmarked gold was traded at NPR 142,700 per tola on Wednesday, but the price has been set at NPR 144,300 per tola for today.

Similarly, the price of worked gold was traded at NPR 142,000 per tola on Wednesday, but it has been set at NPR 143,600 per tola for today.

Additionally, the price of silver has increased by NPR 40 per tola.

Silver was traded at NPR 1,825 per tola on Wednesday, and the price has been set at NPR 1,865 per tola for today.
