Man held for raping a 23-year-old woman

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 28-year-old Ansar Miya, a resident of Jhapa, Bahradashi Rural Municipality-1, on the charge of raping a 23-year-old woman on Tuesday night.

Based on the complaint that Miya promised to marry the woman and raped her, the police deputed from District Police Office Jhapa arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
