PM Prachanda sends off resigning CPN-UML ministers with a song
At around 8:30 PM on Wednesday evening, eight ministers from the CPN-UML submitted their collective resignations to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

At around 8:30 PM on Wednesday evening, eight ministers from the CPN-UML submitted their collective resignations to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
While accepting the resignation letters from Deputy Prime Minister Raghubir Mahaseth and the other ministers, Prachanda reportedly sang a song by Phatteman Rajbhandari, according to one of the ministers present.
He said, “Let me say you something,” and then sang the song by Phatteman : “Yesto Pani Hudo Raichha Jindagi Ma Kaile Kaile, Kasailai Maya Garnu Euta Bhul Gare Maile” (Sometimes in life, such things happen; I made a mistake by loving someone).
Prachanda mentioned that he would formally accept the resignations the following day.
With the collective resignation of the eight ministers from the CPN-UML, the Prachanda-led government has now fallen into a minority.
