RSP suspends General Secretary Dr. Mukul Dhakal

KATHMANDU: The Central Committee meeting of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has suspended General Secretary Dr. Mukul Dhakal.

The meeting, held on Wednesday, decided to suspend Dhakal for seven days.

The committee also decided to direct the party’s disciplinary committee to submit a report on Dhakal’s indiscipline activities and recommend further actions.

An investigation will be conducted over the seven-day period, and if found guilty, further action will be taken; otherwise, he will be reinstated as General Secretary.

The meeting, which began at 8 AM, concluded at midnight after 16 hours.
