Kumari Capital appointed as Saidi Power’s securities issuance manager
The agreement was signed by Kushal Thapa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saidi Power Company Limited, and Pushpa Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of Kumari Capital.
KATHMANDU: Saidi Power Company Limited has appointed Kumari Capital Limited as the securities issuance and sales manager to issue 170,049 units of ordinary shares with a face value of NPR 100 per share to the local residents affected by the project and the general public.
The agreement was signed by Kushal Thapa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saidi Power Company Limited, and Pushpa Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of Kumari Capital.
Saidi Power Company Limited has constructed a 999-kilowatt capacity small hydropower project utilizing the water from the Saiti River, located in Kaski district, and has been operating commercially since 2079 BS.
The electricity produced from this project is being sold by connecting it to the Hemja Baskot substation.
The company has also announced plans to invest in other projects in the future.
