KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has called for a party headquarters meeting at 3 PM today following an agreement with the Congress on the power-sharing scenario.

According to Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali, discussions will focus on the new power-sharing agreement between the Congress and the UML.

He informed, that there will be a discussion on whether to withdraw the support given to the government led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ or to make the ministers resign.

The meeting will also discuss the process of forming a new government, which is set to move forward immediately. Meanwhile, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is also set to hold a meeting at a later time.

Discussions in the Singha Durbar meeting will include recent political developments, including potential discussions on the new power-sharing arrangement.

The meeting will also decide whether to participate in the government formed by the consensus of the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML.
