BEDKOT, Kanchanpur: Former Vice President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Karna Dev Bhatta passed away.

He was 76.

Bhatta has long been suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure.

He died at his residence in Bhimdutta Municipality-6 on Sunday night.

Also the ex-board member of the RSS, Bhatta was the editor of Far-west Times daily, published from Kanchanpur.

He is survived by spouse, two sons and a daughter.

His last rites will be performed on Tuesday, informed journalist Rudraraj Paneru.
