KATHMANDU: Dr. Mukul Dhakal, the Deputy Prime Minister and a senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has reported internal turmoil within the party.

According to his report, chaos has erupted among party members following his presentation of a crisis report to the party chairperson.

Dhakal had prepared the report after visiting 39 districts.

In response to the crisis, the NIP has prepared to convene a central committee meeting, scheduled for Wednesday.

The meeting aims to discuss the findings of Dhakal’s report and is expected to be broadcast live as per his request.

However, neither the party chairperson nor the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane have provided any response to Dhakal’s proposals.

Previously, the RSP disciplinary committee had sought clarification from Dhakal last Friday regarding his report on the state of affairs within the party.
