Child drowns to death in Sunsari

KATHMANDU: A 1.6-year-old Sajan Chaudhary, son of Sunil Chaudhary, tragically drowned in a canal near his home in Kali Jhoda, Ward No. 8 of Ramdhuni Municipality, Sunsari.

The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon while the toddler was playing near the canal.

He was found in a critical condition and rushed to District Hospital Inaruwa for treatment, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.

The police is conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
