Motorcycle Collision with Dog: one dies, another injured

KATHMANDU: A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on Friday at Savitri Chowk, Kamal Rural Municipality-5, Jhapa, involving a collision with a dog.

According to Jhapa District Police Office, the motorcycle with State 1-01-014 Pa 8914, travelling from Kerkha towards Damak, collided with a dog, resulting in injuries to two individuals.

Sadly, Mr Navin Acharya, aged 40 and riding a pillion on the motorcycle, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at B&C Hospital, Birtamode.

The motorcycle driver, Mr. Padam Bahadur Paudel, aged 26, is currently receiving treatment at NIMS Hospital in Damak.
