Woman dies of electrocution

KATHMANDU: A 40-year-old Khim Kumari Gahawi, a resident of Shivanagar Dhusuwa, Gaidhawa Rural Municipality-9, died on Wednesday afternoon due to electrocution.

She was seriously injured by an electric shock when a tree branch touched a power line while she was cutting grass from a tree near her home.

She died during treatment at Lumbini State Hospital in Butwal.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
