Raising awareness against drug misuse (photos)

KATHMANDU: On the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, a program themed “Joining Hands to Combat Drug Misuse” was organized from Bhrikuti Mandap to the Army Club.

Government officials including Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane, along with students, participated in the morning procession.

This event aimed to raise awareness and control the growing misuse and trafficking of banned drugs, creating an environment conducive to healthy living.

Every year on June 26, this day is observed globally to combat drug abuse and promote a drug-free world.
