Argentina clinches 2nd consecutive victory in Copa America

KATHMANDU: Argentina defeated Chile 1-0 in Group A of the Copa America this morning for their second consecutive win.

Argentina had won their opening match 2-0 over Canada. Lautaro Martinez scored the winning goal in the 88th minute of today’s game.

Argentina leads the group standings with 6 points from two games, while Chile is in third position with this setback.

Argentina’s next encounter is against Peru on Sunday.
